Nestled in the scenic Jordaan district, the hotel's tranquil surroundings create a restful environment while still being a 15-20 minute walk from the vibrancy of Dam Square. The housekeeping standards are commendable, with staff maintaining a remarkably clean space throughout my stay. I appreciated the included amenities, such as the complimentary coffee machine in the lobby, which added a touch of convenience without the extra cost. The rooms may be small, but they are fitted with modern comforts, including air conditioning and flat-screen TVs. The early check-in was notably beneficial. Guests can enjoy a sense of security with door alarms and 24-hour reception. In terms of value, Melrose successfully merges essential luxury features with practical pricing, making it an excellent option for discerning travelers looking for an enriching experience in Amsterdam.
